Silver:
Our quality silver plated items will improve with age and use. It is normal for silver to show signs of small abrasions as it is a very soft metal. It is best not to over polish and rub these items as by doing so too much will lead to removal of the top dermis of silver plate. Should this happen we can offer a Silver “laundry” service at a small charge. Please contact us for further details of this service.
Embroidered linens from Madeira:
You will note these items can be washed in the washing machine at a gentle mode using water at a temperature of between 40 – 60 degrees Celsius. Then pressed using an iron set on “linen”
For best results and a crisper finish we prefer dry cleaning these items.
Designer Glassware:
We would advise on the following:
“Glassware” – manufactured from polycarbonate are dishwasher safe at temperatures between 40-55 degrees Celsius. When washed simply rub down with tea towel or paper kitchen roll
“Glassware” – manufactured from Acrylic are also dishwasher safe on the lowest temperature setting. Again when washed simply rub down with tea towel or paper kitchen roll.
To prevent premature staining please ensure correct water ph values and salts are in use.
“Melamine plate collections” – Do not use in microwave. Dishwasher safe on lower temperature settings.
