Fairtrade
At English Garden we are proud of our status as the only UK based tea company that uses 100% fairtrade sourced teas.
English Garden in the community
English Garden is proud to be a company that take responsibility for the environment seriously.
Since 2008 it has been at the forefront of an initiative to help make our inner cities and urban areas a little greener.
Quoted from a letter from Jess Boyle – marketing and fundraising officer for Community Forests Northwest:
“We went out to Green Bank Fields on 25th March with 13 volunteers from the student Leadership Programme of the University of Manchester, and Richard Eccles from the Leisure department of Manchester City Council. Although it was a grey rainy morning, once we started planting, the rain eased and the sun came out. The students really got stuck in and managed to get all 400 trees planted for English Garden Teas in no time!"
Thanks to Leaves in the City and English Garden Tea, Manchester is 400 trees greener, and the local community of Green Bank Fields are pleased with the project.”
